Listen and be amazed!
We hope everyone enjoys these samples. This demonstrates the listening therapy ( Aural Rehab) is helping our son develop his listening skills. We feel confident that he is slowly but surely opening his hearing pathways and benefiting from his bone conduction device because of the Aural Rehab. This time last year, Elias was still not responding to sounds with the amplification. Persistence and patience are proving to be rewarding with these recordings being the initial payouts. While there is still a long way to go, the promise this shows is significant. Hopefully these recordings will bring a smile to everyone's face hearing this progress.
In the file Elias_Babble 1 you can hear him saying 'baby.'
On the file Elias_Babble 4 aboutt the 17 second mark you can hear him softly say his approximation of "bubbles."
The other four files (2, 3, 5, & 6) are just babble with various letter sounds he has been making.
